Themes From The Odyssey

Websters dicitionary defines ascendent as a unifying idea that is a recurrent element in literary or fair work. Authors use theme because its what brings the work together and gives it a meaning. Without a theme, a work would just be words and sluicets. A theme gives each scene and sentence a purpose. A great example of theme in a theme is in Homers Odyssey. Homer uses themes by not telling you what they argon, alone by showing you or leaving hints. Some themes from The Odyssey argon the creator of the divinitys, how Odysseus travel into temptation and how Greek hospitality is shown. The initial theme mentioned in The Odyssey is the agent of the gods. The gods exercise absolute power over mortal actions in The Odyssey. In The Odyssey mortals are continuously making sacrifices to them.
